Our annual Baby Jubilee in a bag will be on August 5, 2020 from 4-6 pm. Families expecting a new baby, or with a baby under the age of 1 are invited to drive by and receive a Bag of goodies and information concerning community resources.
We will be offering 3 Safe Sleep classes and each family can earn a Pack 'N Play by attending the class. Pre-Registration is required. Please only register for 1 Safe Sleep Class as we are limited in the number of spaces available.

Child care licensing is required to protect the health, safety, and welfare of children receiving care away from their parents and their home.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment contracts with the Butler County Health Department to provide local regulatory services for: Child Care Centers, Group Day Care Homes, Head Start Centers, Licensed Day Care Homes, Preschools, School-Age Programs.
For those interested in opening a child care facility the first step is to attend an orientation class. Home-based orientation classes are held on a monthly basis on the 2nd Friday and the 3rd Saturday of each month. Pre-registration is not required and there is no fee for the class. The classes begin at 9:00 AM and are being held at the Butler County Health Department at 206 N. Griffith in El Dorado.

Mom 2 Mom Postpartum Support is a support group for mothers who are experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Facilitated by Jessica Stumpe, LP, this group for new moms will: support each other, learn about the "baby blues" and emotional changes that can take place after having a baby, share raw and real experiences in a safe and non-judgemental place, practice self-care and relaxation techniques, find hope and encouragement on your motherhood journey.
