Haverhill Rd - Intermittent Closures

***CORRECTION 03/03/2023***
The original information regarding the upcoming intermittent Haverhill Rd closures incorrectly listed the southbound lanes experiencing closures; this is not the case. The northbound lane ONLY will experience closures. The southbound lane is not scheduled to be closed. The original information has been modified to reflect the correct information. ***

Haverhill Rd will experience intermittent closures March 6th through April 5th due to increased traffic as a result of turn around operations at the HF Sinclair El Dorado Refinery.

Starting March 6, 2023 to April 5, 2023 the El Dorado Refinery along with the Butler County Sheriff's Office has asked the Butler County Public Works Department to intermittently close Haverhill Rd.  The Northbound and Southbound lanes will be closed in the afternoon from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at Haverhill Rd. and SW 20th and at Haverhill Rd. and SW 40th.  The Northbound lane only will be closed in the mornings from 5:30am to 7:00am at the Haverhill Rd. and SW 40th location. Detour signs will be installed for the dates listed above.

Message boards will be put up ASAP with the above dates letting the public know of the detours. The message boards will be at Haverhill and SW 40th and Haverhill and SW 20th. Deputies will man these locations and possibly others if needed on the detours.

The North bound detour for Haverhill Rd., West on SW 40th to Boyer Rd., then North on Boyer Rd. to 254 Highway. South bound detour for Haverhill Rd., West on SW 20th to Boyer Rd., then South to SW 40th, then East on SW 40th to Haverhill Rd.
