Go Orange Day

2021 National Work Zone Awareness Week in Kansas is April 26-30. National Work Zone Awareness Week educates the Public of the need for safety in work zones. It brings to light the hazards and dangers of driving through work zones and how to avoid them. 

2021's theme is: "Drive safe. Work safe. Save lives." 

Numerous buildings and bridges across Kansas will be orange for the week. Orange is the primary color in work zones. Go Orange Day in Kansas is Wednesday, April 28th - everyone is encouraged to wear orange and show highway workers and everyone who works along the roadways how much their efforts are appreciated.
