ESRI Shapefiles for Download

Butler County GIS now has our county-wide Property Ownership Boundaries, Parcel/Lot Lines and Street Centerline available for download in ESRI Shapefile format.  For additional formats or information, please email bucogis@bucoks.com.

When you select your choice to download, it will ask you to OPEN or SAVE.  Since this is a zipped file, you must SAVE and then extract the shapefile.

Metadata for all layers:

  • Geographic Extent:  County-wide Butler County KS
  • File Type:  Compressed (zipped) folder
  • Mapping Coordinate System information:
  • Projection:  Stateplane
  • FIPS Zone:  1502 (Kansas South)
  • Units:  Feet (US Survey)
