Joe has been part of the
Butler County EMS family since December of 2005. In his role as Training
Lieutenant he is responsible for all quality assurance on B-Shift. He
also maintains our stroke program, working closely with our areas only
comprehensive stroke center. Joe is also a Kansas certified
Instructor/Coordinator allowing him to teach initial EMS courses in our
smaller communities to increase the level of first response. Most
recently he taught an Emergency Medical Responder course in Cassoday for
the local fire department. Joe is also the department's Certified
Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) instructor and holds his National
Association of EMTs) NAEMT instructor certification.
Stuart started his career with Butler County EMS in September of 2006. He is responsible for all quality assurance on C-Shift. As part of his role he is the clinical specialist for our ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) program, coordinating all efforts relating to STEMI treatment and data. Stuart is also a Kansas certified Training Officer I and a National Association of EMTs (NAEMT) instructor for EMS Safety, Principles of Ethics and Personal Leadership (PEPL), and Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC).
Malarie has been with
Butler County EMS since December of 2011. She is responsible for all
quality assurance on A-Shift. Malarie also manages the department's
cardiac arrest data and credentialing process. She is also a Kansas
certified Training Officer I and a National Association of EMTs (NAEMT)
instructor for EMS Safety, Principles of Ethics and Personal Leadership
(PEPL), and Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC) along with being an American
Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor.
She also handles coordination of all requests for CPR training from
outside agencies and individuals.
