Registered Offenders

Over the past few years, legislation has stepped up increasing requirements and duties for Kansas Sheriff's Office's related to registering sexual, violent, and drug offenders. Recently Kansas introduced even more stringent registration requirements for these offenders in the interests of public safety and keeping the community informed.

The Sheriff's Office works to register these offenders and also monitors their activities and information to ensure that they are compliant with their reporting. With the recent addition of the OffenderWatch program, the Sheriff's Office is committed to keeping its citizens informed of Registered Offender activity.

Warrants

The Sheriff's Office receives hundreds of arrest warrants each month from the District Court and assists other local, state, and federal agencies in the service of their warrants within the county as well.
