In an effort to reduce damage to cotton crops due to herbicides, Butler County Extension Office and the Noxious Weed Department are implementing a Cotton Planting Notice Program. The information provided by the cotton producer will be kept on file at the Butler County Extension Office and distributed to anyone who is planning to spray herbicide in the areas reported to have cotton crops.
The Cotton Planting Notice
can be picked up at the Extension Office. The form must be signed by the cotton producer and returned to the Extension Office at:
206 N. Griffith
El Dorado, KS 67042
The Cotton Planting Notice must be filled out, signed, and returned to the Extension Office or the Weed Department before your information can be distributed to your neighboring producers or landowners.
