Overview
Planning is a critical component in Emergency Management. Planning tells us how we can work together to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
Our department is responsible for maintaining the countywide
emergency operations plan (EOP) and the
Hazard Mitigation Plan. A plethora of county, city, and community agencies are brought together to update these plans on a regular basis.
