Andover
Andover Historical Museum
The museum is operated by the Andover Historical Society. Housed in the original (1916) Andover State Bank Building, in "old Town Andover". Learn about the life and times of Andover and Western Butler County, from its early years in the 1860s to present time. Displays include a wide variety of artifacts, memorabilia, photos and documents with special collections pertaining to Andover. Follow the in-progress restoration of the "Gilmore House" an 1870s prairie home, now located between the museum and railroad tracks.(1601 N. Museum of the American Fan Collectors Association
The most comprehensive collection of air moving devices in the world! Over 350 fans on display including many rare and one-of-a-kind items, the oldest dating back to the mid 1800s. Housed in the headquarters of Vornado Air Circulation Systems, 415 E. 13th Street. Hours 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays or by appointment. Free admission (316) 733-0035.

Augusta Air Museum

Augusta Historical Museum. Bookstore & Gift Shop
View over 30 exhibits featuring the regional history from the 1860s through the 1940s. While there you can also visit the 1868 C.N. James log cabin which served as Post Office, General Store and School. Cassoday Museum

Permanent collection of over 2,000 works of original art and antiques housed in three floors of a turn of the century bank building. Butler County History Center and Kansas Oil Museum and Hall of Fame
Historic oil field exhibits, working drilling rig models and full-scale exhibits. Video of historic development of oil in Kansas shown in Texaco Star Theatre. Early day farming and ranching exhibits.
