Freedom Memorial Historic Butler County Courthouse Grounds 205 W. Central 316-321-3150 A brick path memorial honoring over 900 veterans, current members of the US armed forces, and those who served on the home front. A six and one-half foot bronze eagle, "Sovereign Wings," is the centerpiece of the memorial. It rests majestically on top of a large limestone and brick base. A second memorial walk features the Statue of Liberty and our flag. Historic Butler County Courthouse 205 W. Central 316-321-9333 This beautiful 1908 Romanesque Style Courthouse was conceived by the famous 19th century architect, George P. Wasburn.
