The 13th Judicial District Community Corrections agency provides criminal offender supervision services for Butler, Elk and Greenwood counties (the 13th Judicial District). The agency is operated from funding provided by the Kansas Department of Corrections and the Kansas Juvenile Justice Authority, under the auspices of the Butler County Commission. Although the agency provides services to a three county catchment area, all of the employees of the agency are Butler county employees. |

The agency currently consists of the following departments: |

| Adult Intensive Supervision - This department supervises adult felony offenders assigned by the District Court. This probation provides a high degree of offender monitoring in the form of a high number of offender contacts, field and home visits as necessary, drug screening, electronic monitoring, and a high degree of contact with area law enforcement agencies. | ||
| Juvenile Intensive Supervision - This department supervises high risk/ high need juvenile offenders assigned by the District Court. The supervision is similar to the adult program in the monitoring tools that are applied. Special attention is given to the area of school attendance and referrals to necessary treatment providers. | ||

Juvenile Justice Authority Case Management - This department is responsible for monitoring juvenile offenders placed by the court into the custody of the Juvenile Justice Authority (the State of Kansas). Duties include the location of appropriate offender placements and services statewide that range from foster homes, group homes, treatment facilities, or detention facilities. This department also coordinates the placement of offenders on conditional release from the State Juvenile Correctional Facilities. (Additional services are available with the Butler County Juvenile Justice Services Administration.) |

Location - All main offices are located at 226 W. Central, #310 El Dorado KS 67042. This is the Smith Building, which is located directly across the street north of the Butler County Courthouse. A satellite office is located on the 2nd floor of the Greenwood County Courthouse in Eureka. |
