The Butler County Sheriff's Office Civil and Warrant Division falls under the supervision of the Operations Division. The Civil/Warrant Division consists of two civilian office employees that track, file, and route all civil and criminal process papers to be served. Two State Certified Deputies are assigned to serve civil process and two are assigned to execute and serve arrest warrants. On average, approximately 115 criminal warrants are received by the Sheriff's office for service each month. Around 1,310 civil process papers are received, and approximately 1,290 of those papers are served per month.
