BUTLER COUNTY PUBLIC BUILDING COMMISSION MEETING

CALL TO ORDER

Commission Chairman Mike Wheeler called the Butler County Board of Commissioners to order at 9:25 a.m. Present were Commissioner Will Carpenter, Commissioner Randy Doll, Commissioner Randy Waldorf, Administrator Will Johnson Jr., and Clerk Recorder Tammy Bridges. Commissioner Dan Woydziak was absent.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Commissioner Carpenter motioned to approve the minutes of the Butler County Public Building Commission Meeting of Tuesday, July 19, 2005 as written. Commissioner Waldorf seconded the motion. Motion carried 4-0.

ITEM #1 – CONSIDER AWARD OF BID FOR THE EAST ANNEX COMMUNICATIONS CABLING TO LAN-TEL COMMUNICATIONS

Scott Stoskopf, Computer Services Director, came before the Board to award the bid to Lan-Tel Communications Services, Inc., for infrastructure cabling and panels for the East Annex. Lan-Tel’s bid of $52,688.60 is $9,636.40 under the next lowest bid of $62,325.00 by Ziegler Electric Services Inc. After applying a deduct of $3,360 from the Lan-Tel bid the cost of $49,328.60 will be funded from the East Annex project’s budget.

Commissioner Waldorf motioned to award the East Annex communications-cabling bid to Lan-Tel Communications Services, Inc., for the amount of $49,328.60. Commissioner Doll seconded the motion. Motion carried 4-0.

Commissioner Doll motioned to adjourn the meeting of the Board at 9:35 a.m. Commissioner Waldorf seconded the motion. Motion carried 4-0.
