BUTLER COUNTY PUBLIC BUILDING COMMISSION MEETING

CALL TO ORDER

Commission Chairman Mike Wheeler called the Butler County Board of Commissioners to order at 10:35 a.m. Present were Commissioner Will Carpenter, Commissioner Randy Doll, Commissioner Randy Waldorf, Commissioner Dan Woydziak, Administrator Will Johnson Jr., and Clerk Recorder Tammy Bridges.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Commissioner Waldorf motioned to approve the minutes of the Butler County Public Building Commission Meeting of Tuesday, May 10, 2005 as amended. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.

ITEM #1 – RECEIVE AND OPEN BIDS FOR THE EAST ANNEX COMMUNICATIONS CABLING

Scott Stoskopf, Computer Services Director, came before the Board to open bids for the East Annex communications cabling. Bids were received from:

Ziegler Electric $62,325.00 Bid Bond Alternative – deduct $120/each cable run

Lan-Tel Comm. $52,688.60 Bid Bond Alternative – deduct $100/each cable run

Commissioner Doll motioned to receive the bids as read and to authorize the Computer Services Director to tabulate and evaluate the bids and to return at a later time with a recommendation for action by the Board. Commissioner Waldorf seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.

OTHER ITEMS OF BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE BOARD

Administrator Johnson stated Compton Construction is taking off the concrete panels on the East Annex today and are two weeks ahead of schedule. Mr. Johnson also stated that the change orders have been minimal.

Commissioner Woydziak motioned to adjourn the meeting of the Board at 10:45 a.m. Commissioner Doll seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
