COUNTY PUBLIC BUILDING COMMISSION MEETING

CALL TO ORDER
Commission Chairman Dan Woydziak called the Butler County Public Building Commission meeting to order at 10:17 a.m. Present were Commissioner Will Carpenter, Commissioner Randy Doll, Commissioner Randy Waldorf, Commissioner Mike Wheeler, Administrator Will Johnson Jr., and Clerk Recorder Tammy Bridges.
Commissioner Wheeler motioned to approve the minutes of the Butler County Public Building Commission Meetings of Tuesday, July 26, 2005 and Tuesday, January 17, 2006 as written. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
ITEM #1 – CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE
LOWEST AND BEST BID FROM LENCO CONSTRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,970 FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE COMMISSION DESK AND ROOM IMPROVEMENTS
Will Johnson, Administrator, came before the Board for approval of the lowest and best bid of Lenco Construction in the amount of $19,970. The County Commission authorized PKHL to design a new, elevated seating area and prepare documents for bidding of the bench. On January 17, 2006 bids were received from three separate companies for the work to be performed.
Commissioner Waldorf stated that Butler County has some high quality builders and would like to have them added to the list the architects use to bid projects.
Commissioner Doll motioned to
approve the lowest and best bid from Lenco Construction in the amount of
$19,970 for construction of a commission desk and room improvements. Commissioner Waldorf seconded the
motion. Motion carried 4-1. Commissioner Carpenter voted no.
ITEM #2 – RECEIVE PBC BUDGET REPORT
Will Johnson, Administrator, came before the Board to present the PBC Budget Report.

Commissioner Waldorf motioned
to adjourn the meeting of the Board at 10:35 a.m. Commissioner Wheeler seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
