COUNTY PUBLIC BUILDING COMMISSION MEETING

CALL TO ORDER
Commission Chairman Dan Woydziak called the Butler County Public Building Commission meeting to order at 9:35 a.m. Present were Commissioner Will Carpenter, Commissioner Randy Doll, Commissioner Randy Waldorf, Commissioner Mike Wheeler, Administrator Will Johnson Jr., and Clerk Recorder Tammy Bridges.
Commissioner Wheeler motioned to approve the minutes of the Butler County Public Building Commission Meeting of Tuesday, January 24, 2006 as written. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
ITEM #1 – CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE
CONTRACT WITH LENCO CONSTRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,970 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
THE COMMISSION DESK AND ROOM IMPROVEMENTS
Will Johnson, Administrator, came before the Board for approval of the contract with Lenco Construction in the amount of $19,970. The County Commission authorized PKHL to design a new, elevated seating area and prepare documents for bidding of the bench. On January 17, 2006 bids were received from three separate companies for the work to be performed.
Commissioner Waldorf motioned
to approve the contract with Lenco Construction in the amount of $19,970 for
construction of a commission desk and room improvements. Commissioner Doll seconded the motion. Motion carried 4-1. Commissioner Carpenter voted no.
Sandy Zieman, Administration, came before the Board to present carpeting and laminate samples for the new commission desk.

Commissioner Waldorf motioned
to adjourn the meeting of the Board at 9:42 a.m. Commissioner Doll seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
