BUTLER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

Monday, June 11, 2001

The Butler County Board of Commissioners was called to order by Commission Chairman, Bill Shriver. Present were Commissioners Randy Doll and Will Carpenter along with County Administrator, Jay Newton and Commission Secretary, Marcy Zwall.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Commissioner Doll moved to approve the Butler County Commissioner Meeting minutes of Monday, June 4, 2001, and Tuesday, June 5, 2001, as amended. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0.

Commissioner Doll moved to approve the Public Building Committee Meeting minutes of Tuesday, June 5, 2001. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0.

APPROVAL OF VOUCHERS

Commissioner Doll approved vouchers totaling $244,558.66, dated June 11, 2001. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0.

APPROVAL OF ADDS & ABATES

Commissioner Carpenter moved to accept the Adds of +$858.68 & the Abates of -$4,209.24, with the approval number of 2057. Commissioner Doll seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Commissioner Shriver moved to go into Executive Session until 10:15AM, to discuss acquisition of property as well as personnel, & to protect the privacy of the individual. Commissioner Doll seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0

REGULAR SESSION

Commissioner Shriver brought the meeting back into Regular Session at 10:20 a.m.

APPOINTMENTS

Commissioner Carpenter moved to appoint Sherry Petersen as Treasurer of El Dorado Township & Darrel Erikson as Clerk of El Dorado Township, effective June 11, 2001. Commissioner Doll seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0.

ADJOURNMENT

Commissioner Doll moved, having no further business before the Board, to adjourn. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0.
