BUTLER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

The Butler County Board of Commissioners was called to order by Commission Chairman, Bill Shriver. Present were Commissioners Randy Doll and Will Carpenter along with County Administrator, Jay Newton and Clerk’s Secretary, Tindel Jennison.
Commissioner Shriver moved to approve County Vouchers totaling $352,258.70. Commissioner Doll seconded the motion that carried 3-0.
Commissioner Doll moved to approve the 2000 Annual Noxious Weed Eradication Progress Report as required by State Statute KSA 2-1316. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion that carried 3-0.
Scott Stoskopf reviewed the functions and services of the Information Technologies department.
Larry Powell and the cities of Andover, Augusta and Rose Hill visited with the Board regarding unused railroads.
Commissioner Shriver moved to approve Ads totaling $610.62 and Abates totaling $10,809.63. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion that carried 3-0.
Commissioner Shriver moved to adjourn. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion that carried 3-0.
