BUTLER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

CALL TO ORDER

Commission Chairman Dan Woydziak called the Butler County Board of Commissioners to order at 9:00 a.m. Present were Commissioner Will Carpenter, Commissioner Randy Doll, Commissioner Randy Waldorf, Commissioner Mike Wheeler, Administrator Will Johnson, Jr., Assistant Administrator/Finance Director Mark Detter, and Clerk Recorder Tammy Bridges.

ITEM #1 – WORK SESSION – 2007 BUTLER COUNTY BUDGET

Administrator Johnson and the Board discussed the 2007 Butler County Budget.

The Board took the Butler County Budget for 2007 under consideration.

Ruth Fechter, Treasurer, came before the Board for approval of Scot Lloyd of Swindoll, Janzen, Hawk & Loyd, LLC, to review the current office operations and internal controls in place in the Butler County Treasurer’s Office and the Augusta Western Tag Office. The maximum fee of $7,000.00 is to be split between the Treasurer and Motor Vehicle Departments.

Commissioner Carpenter motioned to approve Swindoll, Janzen, Hawk & Loyd, LLC, to review the current office operations and internal controls in the Treasurer’s Office and the Augusta Western Tag Office in an amount not to exceed $7,000. Commissioner Wheeler seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.

OTHER ITEMS OF BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Commissioner Waldorf motioned to appoint Chad McDaniel to the Economic Development Board to replace Sherri Male. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.

Commissioner Woydziak stated that he would like to have an accounting of where the auto defibrillators that Emergency Medical Services purchased are located.

ADJOURNMENT

Commissioner Wheeler motioned to adjourn the meeting of the Board at 9:50 a.m. Commissioner Waldorf seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
