COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

CALL TO ORDER
Commission Chairman Dan Woydziak called the Butler County Board of Commissioners to order at 9:00 a.m. Present were Commissioner Will Carpenter, Commissioner Randy Doll, Commissioner Randy Waldorf, Commissioner Mike Wheeler, Administrator Will Johnson, Jr., and Clerk Recorder Tammy Bridges.
Commissioner Wheeler motioned to approve the minutes
of the Butler County Commission Meeting of Monday, January 30, 2006 and
Tuesday, January 31, 2006 as written.
Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
ITEM
#1 – WORK SESSION-AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY-PAM DUNHAM GIS
Pam Dunham, GIS Mapping Department Director, came before the Board to
present information on aerial photography.
This will be an agenda item at a later date.
ITEM #2 – WORK SESSION-UPDATE ON PLANNING AND ZONING MAPS
Rod Compton, Planning & Development Director, will be presenting information to the Board next week regarding the planning and zoning maps.
ITEM #3 – WORK SESSION-COUNTY
PLANNING RETREAT
The Board discussed the County planning session and set the date of Friday, March 31, 2006 for the Department Head Retreat.
ITEM #4 – WORK SESSION-2006
COMMISSION MEETING ON THE ROAD SCHEDULE
The Board discussed visiting the communities of Andover, Augusta, Whitewater, Cassoday, and Rose Hill.
APPROVAL OF VOUCHERS
Commissioner Carpenter motioned
to approve the vouchers for February 6, 2006 in the amount of $416,645.46. Commissioner Wheeler seconded the
motion. Motion carried 5-0.
OTHER ITEMS OF
BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Administrator Johnson stated that the jail count is 180 with 132 billable.
Administrator Johnson and the Board discussed the furniture budget for the East Annex.

Commissioner Waldorf motioned
to adjourn the meeting of the Board at 10:30 a.m. Commissioner Wheeler seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
