BUTLER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

CALL TO ORDER

Commission Chairman Mike Wheeler called the Butler County Board of Commissioners to order at 10:00 a.m. Present were Commissioner Randy Doll, Commissioner Randy Waldorf, Commissioner Dan Woydziak, Administrator Will Johnson Jr., and Clerk Ron Roberts.

Commissioner Will Carpenter joined the meeting at 9:20.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Commissioner Woydziak motioned to approve the minutes of the Butler County Commission Meeting of Tuesday, July 5, 2005 as amended. Commissioner Waldorf seconded the motion. Motion carried 4-0.

ITEM #1 – WORK SESSION – 2006 COUNTY BUDGET

The Board discussed the 2006 County Budget.

APPROVAL OF VOUCHERS

Commissioner Woydziak motioned to approve the vouchers for July 5, 2005 in the amount of $535036.46. Commissioner Waldorf seconded the motion. Motion carried 4-0.

Finance Officer Mark Detter came before the Board to review the current state of the County Budget for the first half of 2005.

Commissioners reviewed the proposed 2006 budget request from all county departments. Administrator Johnson went through the numbers and his proposed adjustments.

RECESS

Commissioner Wheeler recessed the Board at 11:20 a.m. for 5 minutes.

RECONVENE

Commissioner Wheeler reconvened the Board at 11:25 a.m.

Commissioner Doll left the meeting at 11:30 a.m.

ADJOURNMENT

Commissioner Woydziak motioned to adjourn the meeting of the Board at 1:20 p.m. Commissioner Carpenter seconded the motion. Motion carried 4-0.
